cropped-lionsu-header-r1Graduation List Closes Wednesday August 31!

To graduate from the Bachelor’s Program, Master’s Program, or both, your courses and other applicable requirements should be complete AND you should have applied for credit from within your Lions University account no later than Wednesday, August 31.  NO EXCEPTIONS to this deadline will be given!  We are expecting ~200 Bachelor’s Graduates and ~150 Master’s Graduates; so the Lions University leadership team needs time to verify achievements and prepare graduation certificates and programs with your names!

If you attended the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum in San Juan (2014), Grand Rapids (2015), or if you are registered for the 2016 Forum in Omaha, please login to your member’s area on and apply to receive Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Program credit (as appropriate).

The current list of verified graduates is available at 2016 Graduation List.  Please reply to this message if:

  • You prefer your name to appear differently on your certificate (the web site will be updated accordingly).
  • You are not listed and you believe you’ve met the criteria to graduate from a program. PLEASE check your email first, as we have provided clarification or asked questions of most Lions who applied with information that could not be verified.
  • You will NOT be able to attend the 2016 Forum or the Graduation Ceremony on Saturday evening.  We will make other arrangements to get your certificate and lapel pin to you.

When:  Saturday, September 17.  We will start promptly at 4:30 p.m.!  [note there was an error in the time in the previous email]
Where:  Ballroom C, CenturyLink Center
Attire: Any attire for a Lions event is appropriate.  Consider what you want to wear for a keepsake photo with the International President.
Photos:  In order to stay on schedule, family members and friends will NOT be permitted to take your photo with the International President.  A volunteer from the Host Committee will take the photos and we will email them to you.  You are welcome to take small group photos with fellow Lions at the conclusion of the ceremony.
