It’s our 101st year! For those of you who were in Chicago, it was quite the celebration! We looked back a bit at history and our accomplishments, gave reverence to those who walked and served before us and learned new things for the years ahead.
Lions International has been working hard conducting worldwide needs assessments so that Lions can continue as the largest service organization, making an impact globally. The new global service challenge is Diabetes Awareness. We will continue our work with vision, as well as all of the other projects we do in our communities, however, diabetes has become a global concern and as such, Lions are are heeding the call to make a difference.
The District website will continue to be updated to provide you with information as the year progresses! Stay tuned!
